For one dusty evening in the desert, we invite our favorite mischief-makers, dreamers, sparkle beasts, wanderers, lovebirds, night owls, and gentle troublemakers to gather in celebration of love. Think creature-ball elegance, desert romance, and joy with dust in its hair. A little wild, a little magical, and entirely unforgettable.
Come ready to chase golden light across the playa, share stories under impossible skies, and help us create a tiny pocket of wonder in the middle of nowhere.
First time? Short trip?
If Burning Man sounds intimidating, especially the length of it, take a breath. You can come for a shorter, well-planned trip and still be part of the wedding magic.
The ceremony is on Wednesday evening. If you want the simplest version, think in terms of flying into Reno, traveling light, using Burner Express or a shared rental car, arriving with a little buffer, and heading home once you have had enough dust and wonder.
Fly into Reno, take the Burner Express Bus to Black Rock City, and return by bus. Official 2026 buses go to BRC from Reno through Thursday, September 3, with return buses beginning Friday, September 4.

We also expect to have tent space available for shorter trips, including bigger communal tents and smaller setups like Oystein's Shiftpod, which will have AC. If that would make joining feel easier, let us know in the RSVP and we can help figure out what fits.

Come as your most magical desert self.
Think windswept glamour, creature-ball sophistication, and beauty that feels discovered rather than manufactured. Flowing layers, natural textures, dramatic silhouettes, metallic accents, veils, capes, structured tailoring, celestial adornments, desert nomad chic, and well-loved treasures are all welcome. We imagine a gathering of desert foxes, wandering mystics, moonlit travelers, starlit creatures, and beautiful weirdos dressed for an unforgettable sunset.
Please choose pieces that can withstand dust, wind, and adventure, and help us keep the playa beautiful by avoiding anything that sheds, sparkles, or leaves a trail behind.
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel radiant, curious, and wonderfully alive.
Burning Man 2026
Black Rock City is participatory, self-reliant, and gloriously inconvenient. There are no wedding shuttles, no hotel block, and no last-minute shop for forgotten basics. The preparation is part of the gift.
Every adult guest needs their own Burning Man ticket. Tickets are not sold at the gate.
Bring what you need to live comfortably in the desert. Do not plan on buying basics inside.
Plan for heat, cold, wind, dust, and fast swings. Goggles, mask, layers, and electrolytes are not optional.
If any of these feel overwhelming to you, please let us know. It's a lot less intimidating than it sounds.
Tickets
The path to the party begins with a ticket.
The easiest way to join us is through the STEP program, where tickets are currently plentiful and most guests are able to secure one without much trouble. We expect many of you will find your ticket companion almost immediately.
If the ticket gods seem uncooperative or you run into any unexpected twists in the road, let us know. We are happy to help fellow adventurers find their way.

Your first great quest is simply getting yourself to Black Rock City.
Once you're pointed toward the desert, the rest becomes surprisingly manageable. Our camp truck can carry bikes, luggage, and personal gear, so you can travel lighter and save your energy for the adventure ahead.
These are the paths most commonly taken by fellow wanderers, wedding guests, and desert creatures.
The closest thing the playa offers to an easy mode. Official buses run from San Francisco and Reno to Black Rock City. For 2026, service runs to the playa from August 28 through September 3, with return trips beginning September 4 and the final BRC departure at 10:00 AM on September 8.
Bikes and extra luggage cost more, but future-you may consider that money beautifully spent.

This is the swiftest route for light-footed guests whose camp supplies are already handled. Luggage is limited, and even airborne creatures still need ID and a Burning Man ticket.

The obvious pickup city is not always the kindest to your wallet. If you are not coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, renting in Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Salt Lake City can cost considerably less.
Cruise America has a large national fleet and can be a practical option. Their FAQ specifically names Burning Man as a rental use where deposits may be increased.

If you don't already have a camp to call home, you're welcome to explore joining Hanh's camp, Camp of the Rising Buns, at 10 & B. This year, the Buns are creating a karaoke and chill space: a relaxed home base for singing badly or brilliantly, cooling down, unwinding, and finding your favorite people again.
The playa is vast, strange, and delightfully unpredictable. Staying nearby means more spontaneous adventures, more shared meals, more late-night conversations, and more opportunities to stumble into magic together.

Wedding plan
Our intention is simple: gather at sunset and get married surrounded by the people we love.
The ceremony begins at 6 PM on Wednesday, September 2, at the Long Feng Phoenix Stage at 10 & K. We are deeply grateful to the Long Feng community for welcoming us and hosting our ceremony at one of the most beautiful stages in Black Rock City.
After the vows, we'll dance into the evening, chase strange lights across the playa, and see what joyful adventures the night has waiting for us.
